Mission: Impossible

"Mission: Impossible" is an action-packed spy film directed by Brian DePalma. The story revolves around Ethan Hunt (played by Tom Cruise) and his mission to uncover the mole responsible for framing him for the murders of his entire IMF team. This thrilling movie hit theatres on May 23rd, 1996, marking the inception of the Mission: Impossible Cinematic Universe.

In 1996, Jim Phelps led his Impossible Mission Force (IMF) team on a mission to prevent the theft of classified material in Prague. Among his team members were his wife Claire and protege Ethan Hunt. Unfortunately, the mission went wrong, making Ethan the sole survivor. When he reported the mission's failure, Kittridge, the head of the IMF, became suspicious of Ethan's involvement in the mission's downfall. Now, Ethan must resort to unconventional methods, even enlisting the help of an arms dealer known as "Max" to uncover the truth behind the setup and clear his name.
